About the contracts
Curriculum Writer:

The Contractor (Curriculum Writer) shall provide researching and writing services for Teaching Asian Religions (working title), a digital resource for teachers and educators, which is a component of the National Museum of Asian Art’s Lilly-funded project, Arts of Devotion.

Education Design Specialist:

The Contractor (Education Design Specialist) shall prepare multi-modal, modular content design, using platforms such as (but not limited to) Google Slides, Prezi, or Pear Deck.

Teaching Asian Religions will be a suite of materials written for teachers and students primarily at the middle and high school level. Content is based on teaching religion, specifically Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam, through material culture. The components of Teaching Asian Religions will include lesson plans, video tools, timelines, translated texts, and how-to guides on teaching for inclusion, respect building, and understanding.
