Job Opening: Religious Freedom Program Coordinator

The Freedom Forum is hiring for:

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Department: Content
FLSA Status: Full-time, Exempt
Date Prepared: November 2021

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Freedom Forum’s Religious Freedom Program Coordinator, working with the Religious Freedom Specialist, will act as a resource for educators, civic and community leaders, journalists and the public on religious freedom and religious literacy; develop accessible, general interest content about religious tolerance with a goal to reduce fear about “other” faith and nonfaith traditions and show how minority faiths often petition to protect all our religious freedoms; and partner with religious organizations and other invested parties (businesses, nonprofits, etc.) to broaden our audience through education and outreach. This person will report to the Religious Freedom Specialist.

The Freedom Forum fosters First Amendment freedoms for all. The religious freedom work of the Freedom Forum is grounded in a commitment to religious liberty as an inalienable right guaranteed by the First Amendment; the civic responsibility of citizens to guard that right for others, including those with whom we disagree; and the respect necessary for civil discourse across differences.
